At the end of the day, even the best plastic surgeon can’t stop their clients from aging, and the following celebrities prove it. Apparently, these celebrities don’t put much stock into aging gracefully, because their current situation is anything but.

Celebrities Who Give Away Their Millions

  • Taylor Swift may be young, but she’s also incredibly generous. In 2012, the Grammy winner donated $4 million to music education. In 2016 she gave $100,000 to victims of Tennessee wildfires, $1 million to Louisiana floods victims, and a further $50,000 to food banks in the state.
  • Human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and husband George famously donated the money received from Hello Magazine for their wedding pictures to various organizations. Recently, Amal and George donated $3 million through their foundation to help 3,000 plus Syrian refugee children through school.
  • Before their separation, the Pitt-Jolie power couple was no stranger to helping those less fortunate. Jolie is a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, and Pitt is a humanitarian. The duo gave to over 60 charities. The couple sold the first images of their twins, Knox and Vivienne, to People magazine; they gave the funds to their Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, dedicated to community development in Cambodia.
  • Ellen DeGeneres often gives away huge donations on her daytime talk show. She gave $48,000 to a US military family living in poverty and $19,000 to a single, unemployed mother. Each time someone re-tweeted Ellen’s infamous celeb-packed Oscar selfie Samsung donated a dollar. She split the $2.5 million between two worthy causes.
  • According to the Sunday Times Giving List, music legend Elton John donated a whopping $46 million in 2017. The majority of this was allocated to his charity, the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which has both UK and US branches. The two foundations together have raised roughly $385 million over the past 25 years.
